Pastoral Staff

The Rev. Susan McGarry, Rector

 The Reverend Susan E. McGarry is the third rector of St. Aidan's. Prior to her ministry here, Susan served parishes and university chaplaincies in Michigan and Ohio. She is a graduate of the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1979. Susan is also a PhD candidate in Ancient and Biblical Studies at U of M. Susan serves St. Aidans as our worship leader, preacher, teacher, and is available for pastoral services.

The Rev. Dcn. Helen Brewster, Deacon

 The Reverend Helen Brewster joined St. Aidan's as Deacon in 2004 to help with outreach activities in the community. She is a graduate of The Whitaker School of Theology, Diocese of Michigan and was ordained Deacon by the Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Wendell N. Gibbs, Jr. in 2003. In addition to participating in worship, the role of Deacon is to take the Gospel to the world at large and to speak to the Church regarding the concerns of the people.
